Caro and Clare performed some of their original material at the Auckland Ukulele Festival on 21 November.
Breakfast in Manila and Cupcakes, with many of their ukulele students joining them for ‘Colours of Aotearoa’.
C-Change are planning their tour of workshops for teachers throughout NZ and Australia.
January will see them at the ANCOS (Orff Schulwerk) Conference in Adelaide.
Workshops planned so far – Auckland, Dunedin, Wellington, Napier……watch this space.
‘Colours of Aotearoa’ CD has been launched on Friday 4 September 2009.
Close to 800 people filled the Sancta Maria College auditorium. St Marks Catholic School performed the songs on the CD beautifully.
Thank you to Catherine, teachers, PTFA and the BOT from St Marks Catholic school for helping make this project a success.

Caroline and Clare are experienced musicians and music educators.
They have been trained in the Orff Schulwerk approach to music education. This music and movement approach has been developed by Carl Orff (composer of Carmina Burana).
We use body percussion, non-melodic instruments eg: shakers, drums, claves, woodblocks and melodic instruments eg: xylophones, glockenspiels, marimbas.
