2012 – a ukulele workshop coming in March

Hello everyone

After our wonderful start to the year, with our South Island Tour with North of Bombay, we are now organising a ukulele workshop and performance night with the Big Muffin Serious Band on Saturday 24 March. Please register on the ‘Workshop Registration’ page.

Along with Millie and Terry Locke, Philippa Drake, Dan McCormack and Tony Ramsay, we are travelling to the SouthIsland in January 2012.

We will be performing together, doing ukulele workshops and running Quiz nights and performing.

Uke Play Off

15 July saw 9 Community Ukulele groups gather at the Grey Lynn Community Centre for a Uke Play Off.

Max Cryer and Mary Cornish were the judges.

South Island Tour for C-Change

C-Change starts their South Island Tour in Christchurch on the 25 January and finishes in Blenheim on the 7 February.

They will be presenting the ‘Colours’  workshop for teachers and the ‘Okeley Dokeley Ukulele’ workshop for ukulele enthusiasts.

C-Change Performs at Ukulele Festivals

C-Change have been performing at the recent Ukulele Festivals.

At the Hawkes Bay Ukulele Fest, Opera House, Hastings on the 21 November, we ran an intermediate level workshop to 25+ keen uke players.

NZ Ukulele Festival, Trust Stadium, Waitakere – Saturday 27 November. C-Change are performing, running workshops in the Beginners tent and we have a large group of adult ukulele students performing in the Great Uke Play-along.
